Take A Look At New VBP Reports
Stand by for an August educational session on how to use the IPR and APR. Home Health Expanded Value-Based Purchasing is one step closer to implementation with the issuance of two new report examples. What: 鈥淔or learning purposes only, [the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services] is providing two sample reports 鈥� one for the Interim Performance Report (IPR) and one for the Annual Performance Report (APR),鈥� CMS says in a new message to providers. 鈥淭hese sample reports do not include actual home health agency (HHA) performance data,鈥� the agency stresses. When: The sample IPR and APR are available now, but CMS will help HHAs understand the reports better with an Aug. 25 educational session on them. Agencies can register at .
